About Coby
I believe that finding an incredible home can change one's life. This ethos has allowed me to utilize my experience on Wall Street and in the design world to assist people in finding the place of their dreams. My perspective on negotiating deals, space and style ensure that all clients and partners get the full service and attention they need while navigating the complex, sophisticated and often deeply personal endeavor of buying or selling a home.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and was born a devoted Oregon Duck fan. Growing up, I was blessed with parents who, while running their art gallery, encouraged me to travel and explore the world. Later, at the University of Oregon, I was able to parlay my love of travel and sports into a basketball scholarship where I managed the basketball team and built relationships with coaches and players alike. I continue to foster my love of sports by coaching youth teams and being an active volunteer in the schools. I, with my fashion designer / executive wife and our four children, call the city of Manhattan Beach home, a South Bay community known for its unique combination of small town feel and beach-luxe lifestyle. Entertaining, spending time with friends, and outdoor pursuits keep me in touch with the sense of joie de vivre that defines this coastal community. Cooking with my son Alexander and testing our culinary creations on the family keep me humble, as for better or for worse, our endeavors may land us a spot on “Worst Cooks…"
I hold a M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, as well as a B.A. in Political Science (with honors) from the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon. I am also a Fulbright Fellow (Chile 1996-1997).
